Pictures

First California decided they were gonna print menu items in English and Spanish everywhere but now instead f printing the words let's save some confusion and just use pictures associated with numbers.

Its whack from my perspective but from a business perspective I get it. From a business point all money is green. If u can't read or write in English or even read or write in any language all money is green. I can understand business owners catering to those who are illiterate and those who don't speak the language,. Just because they can't doesn't mean they don't have money that they are willing to spend.

From my stand point as an "average consumer" its sucks. I had to take the time to learn the language for the country that I live in so why don't others? I know some are and they are learning and why shouldn't they be accommodated for until they get to that point...because one you accommodate for them then someone is gonna take advantage of it.

In our society someone is always gonna try and use the way to "get buy" instead of doing it by the book the way it was designed to be done. We should all know that living in the generation where we get to see first hand "Octo-Mom" and her mentality as we pay for her psychotic self.

I really get irritated that we accommodate ignorance and lazyness and in this state more than others. Because all i see it doing is allowing people to get around the rules and regulations. The pictures at star bucks just set me off this morning. Starbucks isnt gonna care as long as they get the money, but me being a consumer not seeing my options b/c you cut down on space to show pictures instead of words to make it easier for those who cant order coffee...thats just frustrating.
