Minimum Wage aint what u thought huh?

So the govenator has said all state workers will be rolled back on minimum wage until the budget has been passed starting this weekend!

I said it before and i will say it again, people dont get all riled up until something extreme happens, then u just have people on either side getting pissy or cheering.

It will be interesting to see if people can live on minimum wage or if they choose to strike. If they can live, i think they will have a BIGGER appreciation for the lower class workers with family's on one income making a living. But i am also curious to see if they choose to all form one big band together and threaten a walk out. In that case i hope they have done their history and see thats not to much of a threat. I mean thought it would strain our services and make things difficult for a short period of time, its been done before.

But the biggest thing i see is that people should now not be upset at the govenator...yup i said it...BUT insead how about we FINALLY be up set at the boxers, and the wiliminia carters!! Those people who have say in the laws and budgets who have been elected in their positions to represent the people in the state, aheam state workers! So how about if you are gonna get upset and pissy lets use this circumstance of messing with ur pay checks to make some people accountable for their actions. I mean if not we are gonna be dealing with this sort of thing every year!

I am so gl;ad he didn't just tart cutting programs that only affected smaller populations of the state but he did something that affected the state across the board so now people have a "reason" to kick start their butts and make things happen! Sucks that so many people are being affected the way they are, like i do not think id be able to pay my bills on such a huge decrease so hopefully they can make it, "this to shall pass sort of thing...but i hope in the long run people start paying attention to things like VOTING and give a crap about the people you are putting in those positions!

Make them responsible for their roles. Dont just vote b/c "he could be the first black guy in office" but give a crap about what they stand for and what they are doing and gonna do in that role, b/c it does directly affect you...if your a state worker and you do not think it does just take a look at next weeks pay check and you be the judge... :o)
