planning the 1st birthday

sooo what do u do at a first birthday party?

there are not a lot of games you can really play centered with a one year old in mind. I mean besides you throwing his toy and him going to bring it back to you (which is very similar to a game of fetch u'd play with a dog) theres not much to do. You kinda just let him be and explore.

so at his birthday i think thats just what i am going to do. Just let him explore, let others come and celebrate with him and play themselves, so the park wins!

Now food...everyone thinks i should BBQ, and ya know what they would lol. They are not the ones saving the $, making the lists of what to buy and then having to make sure all is purchased and cooked with the proper amount of serving and eating utensils and condiments...not so cheap in todays day and age...sooooo who wins...ME! gonna grab some 6 ft burritos (and maybe only one if less than 25 people RSVP) . Then all ihave to do is pick up the phone order it, buy utensils, and table clothes and what ever other decor i wish to have then pick up the burrito and take it all to the park. No worry about when food is done, making sure meat is kept at the right temp before and after cooking, making sure things get cleaned before they get in my car..NOPE

i am kinda just writing it all down b/c everyone i seem to tell seems to bite off my ideas! and i know that means my ideas are the shyt which i know they are, but it stinks. My mom is telling everyone and there mom what "we" are doing and that they are invited BUT she isnt paying or planning lol sooo there is no "we" i should have the say dangit! My sister is prego and for her shower they have magically been suggesting all the same things that i have been talking to her about for the same reasons...just magically...yea ok. lol and of course her shower is first sooo i will look like the biter even though i am the one who is planning in April!! she thinks i am little crazy though b/c i am having a 1st birthday party for my son. It not extravagant but he will have one, i had one. I played i saw family i got my own cake and the pics where taken, the memories where made. so my bug will have that opportunity as well.

im planning a 1 year old birthday party and im dealing with this random bs of peoples feelings and judgements...and i have come to the conclusion i do not wanna plan a wedding...i do not have the patience to deal with others and them pushing their opinions on me. so if i get to that point in life do nto be surprised when i run away for a weekend and come back a mrs. EASY done
